SIMEX Bangladesh follows a proven multi-layer installation method to ensure long-term riverbank stability.

Step 1 – Riverbed Preparation

The riverbank slope is cleaned and shaped to create a stable base. Loose soil and debris are removed before installation begins.

Step 2 – Geotextile Filter Layer Installation

A geotextile sheet is installed over the prepared slope to act as a filter layer, preventing soil erosion while allowing water drainage.

Step 3 – Geo Bag Installation

Sand-filled geo bags are placed over the geotextile sheet in interlocking layers to create a strong protective revetment system.

Step 4 – Geo Tube Placement

For large-scale projects, geo tubes are installed at the toe of the slope to provide additional structural stability and prevent scouring.

Step 5 – Surface Protection

Additional protection layers or vegetation may be added depending on the project design.
